I am from the South Durban Community Environmental Alliance from South Africa. At present I'm concerned about carbon trading and climate justice because it's clear to us that Africans and the Third World countries in the South are going to pay to keep the rich countries of the North in their affluent ways. So they can continue to pollute the Earth and we in South Africa are going to have to pay for it. The message to the climate justice groups is that instead of paying South Africa to continue polluting that they should actually reduce their emission levels. They should start now. They shouldn't wait for anybody to tell them. They should start doing what is right. What is right means reducing all pollution that is causing climate change now. And don't wait for tomorrow. Because there may never be a tomorrow.
